Finding companions…
FAQs
Browse the profiles and read what people say about themselves — what they are comfortable talking about, the languages they speak, and what they are like. You can filter by language and by topic. There is no matching algorithm deciding for you, and no commitment: if a conversation is not working, you end it.
Yes. Open their profile and start another conversation whenever they are available. Many people settle on one or two companions they come back to, which is usually better than starting over each time — you skip the part where you explain yourself from the beginning.
Companions list the languages they speak on their profile and you can filter the directory by language. English and Hindi are the most widely available; several companions also offer other Indian languages. If nobody currently lists yours, that is a gap on our side, not on yours.
Green means the companion is available right now and you can start a conversation immediately. Orange means they are on hold — signed in, but not taking conversations at the moment. Grey means they are not available. A companion in a conversation shows as busy rather than free.
